Changes are coming to Coopers Restaurant!

 

On October 5 the Amenities Board, which is responsible for the restaurant, golf course, pool and other amenities, voted to select a new operator for the restaurant.  

 

Casey Jones and Abizou Tako will take over operations of the restaurant beginning November 1.  Casey has 10 years of experience in restaurant and bar management, and Abizou has 30 years of experience as a chef in top restaurants in Manhattan and Salt Lake City.  Most recently the two have been, respectively, the bar manager and executive chef at the Campfire Grill in Garden City.  We are excited about their vision for making our restaurant the go-to place for great food in Bear Lake.  There will likely be a new name, new menu offerings, some redecorating, and a focus on improved speed, service, quality and atmosphere at the restaurant and bar.  

 

Coopers will probably closed for a few weeks in November for configuration changes to the kitchen, some maintenance items, staff training, and some other areas.  They expect to be open for Thanksgiving and from there on!
